About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Lead efforts to define data standards, policies, benchmarks and processes for the daily execution of activities to ensure effective data governance and data quality management
- Stakeholder engagement with Data Owners, Global Business Process Owners, Data Management team and Data Solution designers to ensure timely alignment
- Liaise with the Functional Data Owners, MDM Spocs, Data Stewards & DDIT organization to calibrate, discuss and resolve Data Governance and Data Quality issues
- Lead team as a functional data expert (SME) for Pharma data that require specific insights of pharmaceutical domain knowledge
- Provide people leadership and create unbossed culture within team for highly productive and motivated team
- Continuously monitor progress (with particular focus on DQ critical metrics) and track benefit realization of use cases and delivery of intended results
- Ensure continuous and effective communication with relevant team members, stakeholders and colleagues in relation to data stewardship activities
- Identify and implement innovative new ways of data governance and management with data quality and process simplification in mind
Minimum Requirements:
Work Experience:
- Overall 12+ years of experience, with 5+ years working in Data Governance and Stewardship roles for key business functions such as Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, HR etc.
- Overall 3+ years of People Management and leadership experience
- Good understanding of Supply Chain domain preferably in Pharma
- Hands-on experience in working in multiple Data Governance, Master data and data management domain
- Good knowledge of GxP environment
- Demonstrated experience in Master Data and creating meaningful insights, which include data quality KPI’s, policies and standards
- Advanced level of expertise in process set-up, Data quality KPIs and operational issues / management
- Strong in reporting & operations management
