About the Role

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the clinical program for renal research, ensuring flawless execution of clinical trials and studies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine and implement the clinical development strategy for renal programs.
- Oversee the design, planning, and conduct of clinical trials, ensuring they are conducted in compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
- Analyze and interpret data from clinical trials, and effectively communicate the findings to both internal and external parties.
- Provide expert input and guidance on renal research, contributing to the overall scientific and strategic direction of the program.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and external partners in the renal research community.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and scientific literature in the field of renal research, actively contributing to the knowledge base within the organization.
Requirements:
- MD or equivalent (preferred), PhD, or PharmD degree required, specialization in a subspecialty may be needed.
Advanced clinical training/knowledge in disease area (renal) preferred with 6 years (MD or equivalent)
• 10 years (PhD or PharmD) of involvement in clinical research or drug development in an industry environment spanning clinical activities in Phases I through III/IV, including submission dossiers - A proven track record of successfully leading and managing clinical programs in the field of renal research.
- Extensive experience in designing and conducting clinical trials, with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines.
- Strong scientific background in renal research, with a PhD or equivalent degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to both scientific and non-scientific audiences.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to effectively work with individuals from diverse departments.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic research environment.
