Role Title: Assoc. Dir. DDIT Dev. SA US&DUs
Location: Hyderabad
About role:
This role will provide the Solution Architecture needed to design and oversee the implementation of software solutions that address the roadmap for S&G, responsible for understanding the requirements, analyzing the existing systems and infrastructure, and designing a solution that meets the objectives and fits the technical environment.
Elaborate and describe the solution architecture holistically, considering all relevant viewpoints (e.g., business architecture, data architecture, technical architecture, etc.). Leverage architecture standards, architecture patterns, reference architectures, and other referential means to elaborate the most adequate solution meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Accountable for deploying the architecture governance practices. Accountable for maintaining the reference artefacts for the functional domain.
- Develop and communicate the various viewpoints (Application, Information, Capability and Process, Security, Extensibility, etc.) of the future state architecture for the Domain/Project. Defining and maintaining the roadmaps Accountable for designing and maintaining the road maps describing the evolution of the Technology Domain solution portfolio from the current state to the future state.
- Collaborating with Enterprise Architects and Functional Architects to align Business and Technology strategies to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
- Delivery of projects in close collaboration with technical and business teams
Education:
- University degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences, Life Sciences or similar
Experience
- Overall 10 + years of experience in IT with 5+ years of experience as Solution Architect / Technical Architect
- Strong experience in designing and implementing solutions using various AWS services and integrating them into database-driven solutions. Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and database design principles using UML tools
- Implementing the architecture governance by leveraging the Enterprise Architecture framework and adapting it to the functional domain
- Pharma / Life Sciences experience working with data products. Envision the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and be able to define technologies, patterns and frameworks to materialize it
- An effective communicator with experience in working cross-functional team as well as independently working to derive far and wide solutions for client, which creates value. Review architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design.
- Design and develop the framework of the system and be able to explain choices made. Author architecture handbook and review design document explaining overall architecture, framework and high-level design of the application. With support of dev team, complete required POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.
- Work with internal and external developers to create coding standards and best practices and ensure they are adhered to. Excellent client relationship management skills with strong analytical, problem solving abilities
- Familiarity with concepts such as data lineage, data governance, data validation & CI-CD/DevOps pipelines. Experience in implementing GxP systems including necessary security controls.
- Skilled in building excellent rapport with clients and team members. Able to see the big picture, delegate effectively and motivate team members to achieve on-time project completion.
- Hands-on experience in building high-quality, scalable data products and pipelines using frameworks, languages and tools such as SQL, Databricks, Python, R and ReactJS.
- Experience on managing and leading Cloud Data engineering / warehousing projects.
